Kristin Cali Schloemer is the founder and driving force behind Calia Stone Boutique, a proudly woman-owned business redefining the stone industry. With determination, creativity, and a commitment to excellence, Kristin built Calia from the ground up, assembling a powerhouse team and setting a new standard for quality and service. She thrives on the challenges of entrepreneurship and leads with resilience, passion, and vision. Always pushing boundaries, Kristin continues to grow Calia while balancing life’s next adventures—including moving Calia to a warehouse. Her favorite stone is Opera.
Meghan Riordan
Stone Stylist/ OUTSIDE SALES
Meghan has a passion for all things interior design, with a great eye for decor. She loves connecting clients with the perfect stone for their vision and brings her expertise to projects throughout the North Shore and western suburbs. Outside of work, Meghan enjoys spending time with her friends, going to the gym, and shopping for her next great find. Meghan’s favorite stone is, Arabescato Corchia
Alondra Ayala
Stone Stylist/ OUTSIDE SALES
Alondra brings her background in interior design to the vendor side of the industry, where she thrives on helping clients bring their visions to life. A true city girl, she manages sales throughout Chicago and Wisconsin and loves connecting with clients across her territory. Outside of work, you can find Alondra sipping a fancy cocktail or going to the latest Chicago concert. Alondra’s favorite stones are Boticelli and Opera D’Rosa.
Anna Brown
Showroom Stylist
Anna is Calia’s southern belle, bringing warmth and creativity to the River North showroom. She manages client interactions, oversees the downtown showroom, and serves as project manager for Indiana and national accounts. As Calia’s event coordinator and marketing/PR assistant, Anna helps bring the brand’s story to life while keeping projects and experiences running seamlessly. When she’s not in the showroom with her dog, Henry, she enjoys traveling and exploring new hotspots with her husband. Anna’s favorite stone is Saint Tropez Cristallino
Mazey Perry
CREATIVE SALES DIRECTOR
With a background in interior design, Mazey brings a passion for helping clients bring their visions to life. She thrives on creativity, whether it’s making art, experimenting in the kitchen, or making her coworkers be in company Instagram posts, she is always working on something. Outside of work, you can find her line dancing or at home with a homemade matcha latte and a good book. Mazey’s favorite stone is Chanel Pink.
Meghan Doka
DIRECTOR OF SALES
Meghan began her career in fashion styling and has since built a successful path in stone styling. She has been with Calia Stone Boutique since its opening in 2018, developing a deep love and knowledge of “Mother Earth’s canvas”—the boutique’s exquisite stone collection. Meghan combines her passion for design with a talent for building lasting client relationships, bringing creativity and energy to every project. Based in the Detroit area, she enjoys fashion, alternative music, and spending time with her husband, new baby, and their dog, Theo. Meghan’s favorite stone is Calacatta Borghini Honed.
Elizabeth Reed
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Elizabeth brings a diverse background in art and design to Calia, with experience in museums, the art auction industry, and fashion retail. A graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she studied design history, she is inspired by the stories, connections, and creativity that emerge through design. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys cross-stitching, exploring fashion and design magazines, reading, and traveling. Liz’s favorite stone is Rosso Levanto
Gwendolyn Hudson
Stone Stylist/ INSIDE SALES
Gwendolyn brings valuable experience from her background in stone fabrication and supply, adding knowledge and expertise to the Calia team. As a Warehouse Stylist, she loves helping clients explore materials and find the perfect fit for their projects. Outside of work, Gwendolyn is passionate about motorsports and cars (ask her about her car collection!). She also enjoys fishing and spends as much time outdoors as she can. Gwendolyn's favorite stone is, Vitoria Regia Quartzite
Mel Owoc
CALIA CARE/ INVENTORY MANAGER
Mel serves as both Inventory Manager and Calia Care Manager, ensuring every detail behind the scenes runs seamlessly. She comes to us from the world of Museum Collections & Fine Art Conservation so her eye for beautiful stone is top notch! She keeps operations moving smoothly while making sure Calia Care clients receive exceptional service. With her organization and dedication, Mel provides the behind-the-scenes magic that sets Calia apart. Mel’s favorite stone is fusion quartzite!
Elyse Koutas
STONE STYLIST/ INSIDE SALES
Elyse brings a diverse background in teaching and car sales; all rooted in her passion for helping and serving others. At Calia, she channels that energy into creating meaningful connections and supporting clients throughout their stone journey. Outside of work, Elyse loves spending time with her dogs and cat, (fun fact: both of her dogs were born deaf!). She also enjoys Pilates, ice cream, and anything pink, even her car! She dreams of one day having a pink kitchen so naturally her favorite stone is Pink Onyx.
